My name is Blanche de Vries. I have been working as a GP in Amsterdam and the surrounding area since 2021. On Tuesdays and Fridays, I work at Medisch Centrum Molenweg. I enjoy living in Amstelveen with my husband and two children. We enjoy the space and green surroundings. We like to spend time in the Amsterdam woods.
Before working as a GP, I completed a degree in Health Sciences, which focused more on preventive care. I then worked as a doctor of paediatrics at the hospital in Zaandam for a year and a half.
I get a lot of satisfaction from practising as a GP. What makes it especially special for me is people's trust in the practice, which is something I want to treat with care. Working with a good fun team of GPs and assistants is also something that makes me happy. I hope that people who come to me see me as a knowledgeable empathic GP who cares about people in the practice with dedication and patience.
Since Monday 24 March 2025, we have been using a new software system. This may cause you to temporarily have to wait longer, both on the phone and in the waiting room, as our staff are still getting used to the new system. We ask for your understanding in this regard.
